While we don't want to set strict limits on what we teach, we will adapt the activities to the children's age. The type of group also matters. We prefer to meet with the participants beforehand to see what they would like to have on the program.

Yes, we provide one guide per group who will explain everything to you (the rules, tips and tricks), provide equipment, and be your contact throughout the entire activity. Our guides ensure that the activity becomes a top experience for your group!
Our activity lasts for 2 hours. During this time, we play various types of games, each lasting about 15-20 minutes. In between, if desired, we provide breaks to catch your breath, have a snack or drink, etc. We tailor the timing to your preferences.

No, unfortunately, we do not lend equipment to third parties. However, we can come to your location with our equipment if the location and our schedule allow it.
Questions about the organization of your event
We are open every day. We have different sessions every day, each lasting 2 hours. You can start at 9 am, 11:15 am, 2 pm, 4:15 pm, and during daylight saving time, also at 6:30 pm.
You can easily check which dates and times are still available by visiting our reservation page and selecting your activity. Below that, a calendar will appear where you can view all available dates and times. Please note that this is not a reservation.
To make a reservation, you need to go through all the following steps! If your reservation is successful, you will ALWAYS receive an automatic confirmation email from our system! Haven't received an email? Be sure to check your spam folder. If it's not there either, you may not have completed the reservation process or there may have been an error in your email address.
No, you pay at the end of your activity. If there are suddenly people who are sick or unable to attend or if dad wants to join, it's no problem at all. You only pay for the people who actually participate, of course.
We only request an advance payment for catering for larger groups (such as team building). You will receive a quotation with the necessary explanation for the advance payment.
Unless there's a mistake on our part, you will ALWAYS receive a confirmation email with additional practical information from us, IN ADDITION TO the automatic email. Haven't received anything? ABSOLUTELY! :-) Our calendar is automatically updated with each new reservation. Two people cannot choose the same day and time at the same moment. The slot will be taken by the first person, and it will no longer be available for person 2. If person 1 doesn't proceed with the reservation or cancels it, that slot becomes immediately available again in our calendar.
Yes! We insure all participants for the activity. This is included in the price indicated on the website.
You can simply pay on-site at the end of the activity. We accept Payconiq or cash. Please note that you need to activate Payconiq on your smartphone in advance! We do not have a card payment terminal! If you find it more convenient, you can also make a bank transfer in advance to account number BE45 7350 4996 5189. Please make one payment per group.
No worries! You can make changes up to 48 hours before the start of the activity using the automatic email you received from us. At the bottom, there's a button to move your reservation to a later date. If you're still unable to make changes, give us a call, and we'll solve it together!
If the number of guests changes significantly, please let us know so we can prepare the necessary equipment! We don't keep equipment on-site, so we need to make sure we bring enough! While we can't guarantee everything is possible, we promise to always do our very best! :-)
It turns out that it doesn't rain that often in Belgium ☺. In practice, we find that we're hardly affected by the weather. Even if it's (lightly) raining, everything continues outdoors, and you won't feel it while playing. For those who aren't playing, there's always a covered seating area. If there are storms or the weather conditions are too severe for outdoor play, the activity can be canceled or rescheduled. In practice, this happens less than once a year. As long as you can play soccer outdoors, we can play too!
Our activities are suitable for both young and old. We recommend lasershooting from the age of 8. Paintball can be played from 10 years old with the kids, from 13 years old with the juniors, and from 16 years old with the masters. Everyone can play at their own pace: whether you want to run a lot or a little, skip a game, it's all possible.
In general: wear sporty clothing that allows you to move comfortably and sturdy footwear (our terrains are not flat). Specifically for paintball: wear closed-toe shoes, and if you wear glasses, consider wearing contact lenses in combination with the mask!
Lasershooting is absolutely painless. In paintball, you will feel the impact of a paintball. If the rules (and the minimum shooting distance of 10 meters) are followed, the impact is manageable. Additionally, when you play junior and master paintball, you wear an overall. If you wish, you can also get extra back and chest protection to wear under the overall.
In Holsbeek, we ONLY offer lasershooting. The terrain is suitable for children up to approximately 12 years old and groups of up to about 30 players. We advise all other customers to go to Schiplaken. Neither the players nor the supervisors (drivers) will regret it! :-)
In Holsbeek, we no longer have infrastructure as we had to dismantle everything. However, we still have picnic tables on a terrace, as well as a fridge and hotplates.
At The Gathering, anything is possible! :-) During COVID-19, several people have proven that 1-on-1 can be crazy fun. However, we recommend coming with as many people as possible. After all, the more, the merrier! The package price, however, remains in effect.
We never mix groups. However, we do have open days. On those open days, everyone who wants to play is welcome, with or without their own equipment. We will try to schedule these on fixed dates each month so that everyone knows when they can play. Be sure to follow Facebook for further information! Registration via email is required!

Questions about the on-site activity
1) Location Schiplaken: parking is available at the site, Molenheidebaan 23. If this parking is full, it's best to park at the parking of Sport Vlaanderen Hofstade (next to Sportimonium). From there, it's about a 5-minute walk.
2) Location Holsbeek: park on the driveway and in front of the garages of Gobbelsrode 119. Please keep the bike path clear.
When everyone is ready to play, about 15 minutes before the start of your session is perfect! :-) During the session, there is time to distribute all the equipment and explain everything, so you don't need to arrive earlier. If you want to eat or chat with your guests or their parents before or after your session, you can do so in our cafeteria or on the covered terrace. We kindly ask that you do not disturb the playing groups at that time.
For now, this is not yet possible. However, we are preparing everything to change this in the future!
Absolutely! Our spacious bar and covered terrace offer plenty of seating options without disturbing other groups that are currently on the premises. If you want to stay a bit longer after your activity, that's certainly possible! We even have lounge chairs for those who want to linger! :-)
Questions about catering
We absolutely want to uphold the tradition that you can bring your own food if you wish. We provide free ceramic cooking plates, a microwave, and a fridge in case you want to heat something up (e.g., hot dogs, pancakes, ...).
All drinks are available at the bar. We offer a variety of drinks including coffee, tea, soft drinks, water, beer, wine, and champagne. You can also get free (chilled) tap water and cups from us.
In Schiplaken, we offer drinks and some small food items on-site (chips and marshmallows) and collaborate with partners to offer BBQ, tapas, and/or paella, or sandwiches. For more information, see Catering. In Holsbeek, only drinks are available UPON REQUEST.
Absolutely! The Schiplaken site has a spacious bar and a covered terrace where you can sit comfortably, whether in our homemade lounge chairs with a view of the playing fields or not. In Holsbeek, a tent is provided when the weather is less favorable.
Absolutely! Just let us know in advance so that we can arrange everything with the caterers. We make sure all our products are freshly picked up, so we have nothing in stock except for chips and marshmallows...
